The Art of Value Realization · For enterprises

Get the ROI you were promised when you bought the tool.

For supply chain leaders whose Prewave, Everstream, Exiger, Sphera or Resilinc roll-out has not delivered yet. Tool-independent. I work with your team until the value shows up in a number your CFO signs.

The pattern

You bought the tool. The value never showed up.

The tool sits idle

Half the seats are unused. Risk feeds light up dashboards no one looks at.

Dashboards changed, habits didn't

Procurement still escalates by email. The work-around quietly became the workflow.

Renewal is approaching

The CFO asks what changed. The vendor asks for a bigger contract.

The method

The Value Activation Loop.

Five phases, each with a named framework and an artefact your team keeps.

  1. Phase 1

    Baseline

ROI Provenance: what was promised, what is live, who still owns it.

  2. Phase 2

    Audit

Value Leak Map: the top five places value leaks today.

  3. Phase 3

    Activate

Configuration, ownership and working rhythm, together with your team.

  4. Phase 4

    Measure

Four to six monthly numbers your CFO can sign.

  5. Phase 5

    Guard

Monthly sync, quarterly board review, renewal on your terms.

Advise

Value Audit

3–4 weeks · fixed

How the tool is used today, where value leaks, the top five things to fix.

Coach

Value CoachingNEW

8–12 weeks · weekly

The tool owner and the procurement or risk team work with me on real cases: alerts, supplier requalifications, board reporting. The team builds the habit, I coach.

Value Training

1–3 days

User and management tracks. Run once, or as a half-yearly cycle.

Lead

Value Activation

8–12 weeks · milestones

Configuration, ownership, KPI scoreboard and a working Value Ledger, built with your team.

Value Guardian

Quarterly retainer · 18–36 months

Your part-time value team: monthly sync, quarterly review with CPO and CFO, vendor escalation, renewal preparation.

FAQ

Questions enterprise teams ask.

What is value realization for supply chain risk software?

Value realization means making sure a software purchase delivers the value in its business case. For supply chain risk tools that takes four things: the right configuration, named owners, a weekly working rhythm, and four to six monthly numbers your CFO can sign.

Why do supply chain risk tools often not deliver the promised ROI?

The gap is rarely the tool. Seats stay unused, alerts light up dashboards no one looks at, and procurement keeps escalating by email. What is missing is ownership, configuration, training and a daily routine around the platform.

When should we start before a contract renewal?

Ideally six months or more before the renewal, so there is time to show real numbers. A Value Audit takes three to four weeks and ends with the five places where value leaks today.

Does it matter which platform we use?

No. I work with Prewave, Everstream, Exiger, Sphera and Resilinc, and I am tool-independent. I take no commissions or referral fees from vendors.

Jonas Artmeier, sales advisor and interim VP Sales in Munich
About

15+ years selling software to enterprises. Now on both sides of the table.

I have sold software to large companies for more than 15 years, at Ingram Micro, IBM, A1 Digital, Oracle and Prewave. I joined Prewave at Seed stage in 2020. ARR tripled four years in a row, I built the sales org to more than 40 people in five teams, and we won Siemens, Volkswagen, BMW and Amazon. Then I built the advisory practice that helped enterprise customers get the value out of the platform, to more than 50 clients.

Today I work with startups that sell supply chain software, and with the enterprises that buy it. More about me

  • Never both sides of one deal. I don't advise a vendor and its customer on the same relationship.
  • Tool-independent. No commissions or referral fees from vendors.
  • No direct competitors in parallel in the same segment.
