Interim VP Sales · Fractional VP Sales · Supply Chain & ProcureTech startupsA sales leader for your team, until your full-time hire is in the seat.
I lead your sales team one or two days a week for six to twelve months: forecast, pipeline, hiring, coaching and board reporting. I have sold software to enterprises for more than 15 years and built the sales org at Prewave from the first sellers to more than 40 people. When your full-time VP Sales starts, I hand over and can stay on as their coach.
You need sales leadership now, and the right hire takes months.
The founder still runs sales
Deals depend on you, and there is no time left to build the team, the process and the forecast.
First sellers, no leader
Two to five sellers are on board. Nobody owns the pipeline review, the coaching or the hiring plan.
A round with enterprise growth in the plan
The board expects a sales org that wins enterprise customers. The search for a VP Sales has only just started.
A leader left
Your Head of Sales is gone and the team needs someone to keep the forecast and the deals on track.

Questions about interim VP Sales.
What is the difference between an interim and a fractional VP Sales?
None in substance. Both are an experienced sales leader who leads your sales team part-time for a limited period. "Fractional VP Sales" is the common term in the US, "interim VP Sales" is more common in Germany and Europe.
How much time does an interim VP Sales spend with us?
One or two days a week, for six to twelve months, with a six-month minimum. That covers the weekly forecast and pipeline review, hiring, coaching the sellers and board reporting on sales.
When is an interim VP Sales the right choice?
When the founder still runs sales, the first sellers need a leader, and the right full-time hire will take months. If a strong sales leader is already in place, Sales Leader Coaching is usually the better fit.
What happens when we hire the full-time VP Sales?
I help you find and hire them, hand over the team, the forecast and the hiring plan in a structured way, and can stay on as their coach through Sales Leader Coaching.
Do you only work with Supply Chain and ProcureTech startups?
Mostly. My network, references and category knowledge are in supply chain and procurement, where I have sold software to enterprises for more than 15 years. Outside that, I work rarely and usually through VC partners who know my work.
