About

Jonas Artmeier.

Five years on the inside of one of the supply-chain tools you may have already bought. Now on the other side of the table — making sure the value promised is the value delivered, and that it keeps compounding for years after.

Background

From building the platform to closing the gap.

Before Artmeier I led the global advisory function at Prewave, the AI-based supply-chain risk platform. I built the practice from zero to more than fifty enterprise clients, and personally accompanied AI-supply-chain transformations across Fortune 500 manufacturers in automotive, machinery, and consumer goods.

I saw the same pattern every quarter. A board would approve a seven-figure tool investment. Twelve to thirty-six months later, the team still could not produce a single board-ready metric proving the investment had moved a number that mattered. The tool was usually fine. The activation and the operating cadence around it were not.

Artmeier exists to close that gap and to stay close enough to keep it closed. Tool-independent by design — the platforms my clients run today are roughly an even split between Prewave, Everstream, Exiger, Sphera, Resilinc and a handful of adjacent vendors. What I bring is a working method, an honest read of what activation actually requires, and the willingness to do the unglamorous ownership work most consultancies skip.

Strategy is part of the work — I do it when it serves the outcome. The edge is in the operating cadence that turns strategy into a board-ready number every month, for years. Jonas Artmeier

Principles

What I will and will not do.

I will

  • Work fixed-scope and fixed-fee when the brief is clear.
  • Build artefacts your team owns and updates after I leave.
  • Push back on a renewal that does not earn itself.
  • Bring vendor pressure when value commitments are missed.
  • Walk away if the loop cannot work in your operating model.

I will not

  • Write a sixty-slide strategy deck that nobody opens twice.
  • Take a percentage of licence savings as the only fee.
  • Sell you a new tool you do not need.
  • Become a permanent fixture without visible value compounding.
  • Promise a number I cannot stand behind on a board pack.

Logistics

Where I sit.

Based in Munich, working DACH-wide. Open to a few engagements in EU manufacturing hubs each year. First conversations are usually a 30-minute call, followed by a written summary of what I heard and a recommended first step — typically a Value Audit on the way to a Guardian relationship, or, equally often, an honest "this is not the right fit."
